Built to last.
GRT BUILDERS LLC is a residential general contractor and for-sale builder headquartered in Payson, Utah — single-family and multifamily construction, custom homes, remodeling and restoration, built floor by floor.
Four trades,
one builder.
Every residential job the company takes sits under one of four trades — GC, for-sale, multifamily or remodel.
Single-family construction
Custom homes, cabins, cottages, log homes, townhouses, duplexes and vacation homes — built on the client's land, to the client's plan.
Trade · MultifamilyMultifamily construction
Apartments, condominiums, co-ops, garden and low-rise buildings — multifamily GC work with panelized and prefab options.
Trade · For-SaleFor-sale & spec building
Homes built on our own land for sale — single-family, multifamily and spec builds marketed once they're framed and finished.
Trade · RemodelAdditions & restoration
Additions, renovations, sunrooms, porches, home improvement and fire-and-flood restoration — residential remodel GC work.
What the builder
puts in writing.
GRT BUILDERS LLC was organized on a simple discipline: every build is documented like it was built for the owner's mother. Scope, schedule, selections and change orders — in writing, signed before the saw hits the lumber.
The company runs four trades under one license — single-family and multifamily GC work, for-sale merchant building, and residential remodeling and restoration. Whether it's a cabin in the Wasatch, a row of townhouses, or a kitchen remodel in Payson, the process is the same: written scope, named superintendent, documented schedule.
What we don't do is as important as what we do — no vague allowances, no verbal change orders, no surprises at closing. The build file exists so the client knows exactly what was built, by whom, and when.
"A house is just a series of decisions — the builder's job is to make them before the client has to."

the site.
Three commitments posted on every jobsite fence.
Written scope, fixed schedule
Every build starts with a written scope and milestone schedule — the client signs the plan before we pour the footing.
One superintendent, one phone
A named superintendent runs each job — one call reaches the person who knows the framing from the finish.
Changes in writing
No verbal change orders — every deviation is priced, documented and signed before work continues.
